Child Wise
Protecting Children's Futures
Child Wise was established in 1993 and is the only Australian based organisation committed to strengthening the capacity of individuals, communities and governments to protect children from abuse and exploitation. Child Wise's primary focus is to prevent abuse before it happens. Their programs are child-focused, award-winning and informed by a fundamental belief that children have a right to physical and psychological safety. Child Wise works in Australia, Asia and the Pacific delivering programs to prevent abuse against children.

Over $100,000 raised
Over $100,000 was raised in February 2012 for charity Child Wise from the sale of a luxury 35 square Double Storey home donated by the Henley Properties Group in Lakeside Pakenham.

The home built by Henley, was purchased by Chad Dunscombe, Vanessa and Melanie Wells. The home was completed late in 2011, specifically built for the purpose of raising funds for the children’s charity.

The happy purchasers said they were pleased to have bought something in which the proceeds would be going to a good cause.

This Charity Home could not have happened without the generosity and support of our suppliers, trades and contractors, who have all donated their materials, labour and time to this project. It’s been a rewarding experience for all involved and a great new home for Chad, Vanessa and Melanie and an excellent result for Child Wise.
