Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Henley get involved?
Henley chooses to dedicate resources to philanthropic work to provide opportunities for people who may have never had the chance due to the society that they live in or because of personal health issues. The group has always had a heightened awareness of the social responsibility that they hold, and choose to honour a tradition which started in 1992, when they auctioned off a house for Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.

How does the group choose the projects?
Henley takes the responsibility that they hold as donors extremely seriously. When selecting projects the group investigates and scrutinizes all projects to ensure the support that they are providing goes to the right people. The group chooses to support people and organisations that can provide verification of their funding expenditure, and who are making the changes in society which will make lasting change and will impact in the community for the future.

How can I help?
Please contact Jessica Jones on (03) 9574 5062, or jjones@henley.com.au to find out how you can volunteer.

Can Henley help my chosen project?
Henley investigates the possibility of funding any project which is uncovered by our staff or our clients. Unfortunately Henley cannot support every charity no matter how worth while. However as funds and resources permit new charities which meet the group’s charitable goals will be added. Naturally any additional projects will need to be thoroughly investigated and scrutinized to meet the group’s criteria.
