Scholarships for Kenya
Many children in Kenya are prevented from getting an education due to lack of funding, and support from family. So many children in Africa are orphaned as a result of their primary carers dying of AIDS.

How has Henley helped?
Our Kenyan Sponsorship student Daniel has now completed his 3rd and final year at RMIT. Since completing his studies Daniel has applied for a 4 year working Visa with Wesley Missions here in Melbourne. Wesley Missions provide a range of valuable services for children and young people in crisis, those who are experiencing homelessness and people with disabilities, just to name a few.

Since Daniels association has begun with Wesley, Henley has jumped on board and is taking part in their 2009 Christmas food collection appeal. We are hoping our donation will help a family enjoy a Christmas they may not have had without Wesley’s support.

Daniel has been apart of the Henley family for more than 3 years and has achieved not only brilliant academic results but has left behind him a string of community achievements for international students, trying to fit into a new culture at university. Congratulations on the completion of your studies Daniel. Henley would like to wish you all the very best for the future.

Henley provides scholarships to 13 Kenyan high school children. To see their third term results, click on their individual links below.
