Good Friday Appeal 2011 - Sold for $610,000
Taking total donations raised to over $10 million
Indeed a Good Friday for The Royal Children's Hospital with Villawood Properties and Henley Homes raising a whopping $610,000 in 2011 for the Good Friday Charity Appeal Charity Auction House.
Fierce bidding saw a flurry of hands raised in order to secure the Charity Auction Home at the Alamanda estate all as part of the Good Friday Appeal 2011.
A long standing fundraising project for the Good Friday Appeal, with the fantastic result bringing the grand total of funds raised over the past 18 years, to over $10 million - all of which goes to The Royal Children's Hospital.
The house – the 8 star energy rated, 42 square Eclipse Q2, was from our new 2011 Clendonvale Collection of homes, and its included numerous luxury inclusions attracted some keen bidding on the day. This year saw Henley building and auctioning its 26th Home & Land package for the Good Friday Appeal. The Directors of Henley have now been supporting the Appeal for 18 years, a truly amazing feat and something the company is proud to be a part of.
Over $10 million in funds raised have been dedicated to much needed research and equipment.
